We have a three (3) step Due Diligence process.

Step 1 – Consideration:
If an initial interest exists and after the full application has been completed, a series of strategy, product and people evaluation sessions are organized. This is a very high level due diligence effort to evaluate team “chemistry” and uncover basic show-stoppers.

Step 2 – Deep Due Diligence:
Our team will focus on ten key due diligence areas:

1. People/Organization
2. Corporate (legal entity) Review
3. Software & Operations
4. Market Analysis
5. Value Proposition & Business Model
6. Marketing Channels
7. Competition
8. IP protection & Barriers
9. Financials
10. Valuation & Exit

Positive findings will result into a conditional acceptance into the Venture Farm Program and development of a relationship term sheet.

Step 3 – Hands-on Deeper Due Diligence:
During the first three months after acceptance, the Venture Farm team will work closely with the portfolio company to identify key “execution” challenges, including identification of the true value delivered to the customers, the management team’s commitment, expertise and coachability, etc. This effort will confirm that the Portfolio Company can move to the next stages and be funded through the next execution milestones.
